    .

  • How do I print the task list?
If you would like to print the task list, you may do so using the Printer icon located at the top of the Task List. You can print only a subset of the tasks, if desired. First, set your Sort By option and filters. Next, click on the Printer icon. A printable version of the task list will appear. You must then print using your browser's Print method (File | Print).

  • How does email notification ("Notify") work?
If "Notify" is checked, you will be emailed when new comments have been added by another person to a task for which you are either the owner or the assignee. You will also be emailed if your email address has been included in the Cc: field. You will not receive an email notification for comments that you authored unless you are the assignee.

  • How does the "Cc:" field work?
The Cc: field allows you to send the automatic Task Notification email to additional email addresses. NOTE: You do not need to copy the assignee or owner of the task as they will automatically be notified. Also, your group admin is always notified of task changes. Multiple email addresses may be entered if separated by a semi-colon or comma. The Cc field entries will be retained during the life of task unless manually deleted when the task is edited.

  • What is the difference between "OPEN" and "New" on the Task List?
"Open" is not an actual status that can be assigned to a task.  The "Open" status will display all tasks that are assigned the status of "New Task", "In Progress", "Resubmitted", or "Deferred" (i.e. all status' except "Cancelled" and "Completed").

  • What is the difference between "CLOSED" and "Complete" on the Task List?
"Closed" is not an actual status that can be assigned to a task.  The "Closed" status will display all tasks that are assigned the status of "Cancelled" or  "Completed".

  • How do I add a new project?
Projects can be added via the Admin page under the Project Management section.  Simply enter the new project name into the "Project Name" field and click the 'Add Project' button.  Projects appear under the "Current Projects" section on the left.

  • I no longer see all tasks in the Task List. What happened?
Check your Filter and Sort By setting above the Task List.  If "Save current settings" was checked when you changed your filter options, the filters will be preserved for future use.  If you want to set your filters to something else, select the filter options you want, check the "Save Current Settings" box, and click the "Filter/Sort By" button.

  • If I've clicked on "New Task"  but decide not to enter a new task, how do I exit the form?
If you haven't clicked the "Submit" button, you may exit the form by clicking on the "Task List' link in the left menu pane.  You may also use the "Back" button on your browser.

  • Why am sometimes prompted for Operating System, browser, etc.?
The form asking you for your Operating System, browser, Error Message, etc., will appear if you have specified a particular task as a "Bug".

  • How does "Notify" work?
If "Notify" is checked, you will be emailed when new comments have been added by another person to a task for which you are either the owner or the assignee. You will also be emailed if your email address has been included in the Cc: field. You will not receive an email notification for comments that you authored unless you are the assignee.
